PURE LINGSAR

PURE LINGSAR is sakread not only to Lombok hindu community, but also for local moslem and wektu telu followers, build aroand 1714. pure lingsar was originally based on the prevalling animist belicfs of the time,and same of the original animist statners remain yo day. this tample has two holly shrines and is the only place in lombok. where all the religions, hindus, buddist, christians and or to dox moslems, come togetrher to pray for prosperity, fertility, rain health and general sucsess. the temple is traditionally assecated with fertelity irigation and rice, perang topat is an annual festifal held at lingsar and features ritualised was with rice cake, which also serve as an offering to the gods.
